Obtaining a Driver’s License

Requirements

Typical documentation required to obtain a driver’s license include:

• Valid passport and residence visa page
• Imirates ID, with copies
• A No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer
• Eye test report
• Origin country driver’s license translated into Arabic (only applies to certain countries)

The process to obtain a license depends on origin driver’s license. Most European countries, and USA can exchange their origin license for a local driver’s license, other nationalities need to pass a test.
